One of the bigger misconceptions of training is the best trainers out there were trainers from the start. There is no better example of that flaw in judgement than our guest, Lala Duncan, Director of Training and Development for Dogpound. Dogpound is arguably the most talked about facility in NYC and in the US due to their culture, high-end clientele, and rugged gym to upgrade training.
Lala got her start in the Fashion industry and spent years traveling all over the world in the pursuit of clothing and accessory design. During her time in Hong Kong, she was introduced to the itch of strength training – an itch that never went away. This transition to training has placed her in a position to train some truly high end clients from professional athletes to industry leaders.
Transitioning through the pandemic, their team had to switch to Virtual Coaching as did everyone. Lala was the catalyst to not maintaining but ELEVATING the experience.
