My name is Andrea and one of my greatest joys in life, apart from my daughter, is helping people. My goal is to help you feel better, move with less pain and more confidence.
I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I moved to Vancouver in 2011, and immediately fell in love with the mountains, the ocean and the lifestyle. If I am not in the gym, you'll find me hiking, running, cycling or sitting in one of the North shore breweries.
I graduated from Dublin City University in 2009 with a BSc. in Athletic Therapy and Training and I have been working in the industry since then. Shortly after moving to Canada, I was introduced to kettlebells. I passed my first kettlebell coaching certification with Strongfirst in 2014 and have never looked back. I love the principles of kettlebell training and their versatility. Kettlebells can take you from rehab to strength!
I believe that research based, intelligent training isn't just for athletes, it's for everyone! That's why I am committed to furthering my education to bring you the most up to date information available. I am and will forever be a student! I have taken courses and workshops on assessments and screening, injury prevention and management and performance. In 2018, I was fortunate to be a speaker at the Nelson Fitness Forum.
My training style is about educating you on how to move better so you can apply those skills to your daily life! But most of all, it's important that we have fun along the way. I love to challenge my clients in a safe manner. For me quality of movement will always trump quantity!
