Brittany has possessed a strong passion for physical therapy from a young age; she began volunteering and observing in middle school. Her passion for physical therapy and helping people return to health and an active enjoyable lifestyle has continued to grow throughout her career.  She enjoys working with all aspects of the human body and evaluating the root cause of symptoms to resolve impairments and return patients to optimal functioning while maximizing quality of life.

Brittany is a strong believer in educating patients to empower them in their recovery and eventually self care and future injury prevention.  Brittany enjoys working with a variety of patients; however, she has a strong passion and interest in the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries.  She stresses the importance of postural education and the effects of dysfunctional posture and movement patterns on the body.

Brittany views patient education and a partnership with her patients as important to recovery.  In recognizing each patient’s uniqueness, she tailors treatments using a variety of philosophies, methodologies and techniques to ensure outcomes that are specific to the patient’s personal goals.  She employs an integrative combination of manual therapy techniques to address joint and soft tissue restrictions, exercise to restore motion & strength, and education to the patient to maintain progress and reduce the risk of re-injury. Her clinical experience spans the range of acute care, critical care, pediatrics, skilled nursing, home health, neurological rehabilitations, vestibular rehabilitation, hand therapy, and sub-acute care; however her primary interest is in outpatient orthopedics and sports therapy with performance enhancement. She enjoys learning new sports and taking on new experiences in her off time as well as volunteering in the community.
