Bio

Mark graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 in Iloilo City, Philippines where he worked at the orthopedic specialty center in the Central Philippines. Mark then became a Faculty member of St. Paul University in Iloilo where he taught Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Human Anatomy, and Clinical Education. He moved and lived in Guam in 2004. In 2005, he immigrated to the United States, and, after passing the National Physical Therapy Examination, Mark began working at a private practice in Oregon and then moved to Bellevue, WA where he honed his skills in manual therapy, orthopedics and sports medicine. Being a high school athlete himself, he enjoys working with an active clientele ranging from the middle school athlete to the active adults who want to keep up with their grand kids. He has developed injury prevention programs for athletes of all ages, mentored physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students and professionals, and continues to take continuing education and certification courses. Mark is an assistant trainer for the Fascial Distortion Model courses and enjoys working with fellow clinicians and students of all backgrounds: PTs, Chiropractors, NPs, PAs, and Osteopathic physicians and students in those classes. Mark enjoys treating clients with back, shoulder, and neck issues and is passionate about empowering the patient with the tools necessary for them to achieve their goals. His approach is eclectic, fusing a variety of treatment options towards a more holistic approach. During his spare time, he enjoys hiking with his golden retriever, Shadow; running; and lifting in the gym. You might see him reading a book in a local café or attending a local concert when he’s not working.
